Schön, dass Du Dich für das Programm interessierst! Es handelt sich bei dem Programm um ein Buddy System, bei dem sich sowohl Flüchtlinge, als auch Studierende der Universität Duisburg-Essen anmelden können. Unser Ziel ist es, Flüchtlingen den Einstieg in das Universitätsleben durch die Hilfe anderer Studenten zu erleichtern.
Hier werden Flüchtlinge und Freiwillige einander nach bestimmten Kriterien zugewiesen, sodass sich niemand an unserer Uni verloren fühlt und der Start ins Studierenden-Leben erfolgreich gelingt!

Great that you're interested in the program! Students of the University Duisburg-Essen, as well as refugees can easily register for this buddy program. Our goal is to ease the refugees' first steps into university life by the help of other students.
Refugees and volunteers are going to be matched concerning certain criteria to create the best conditions, so no one feels lost at our university and students' life can successfully start.
